Conduct a case study based on Michael Jeffries creative direction of Abercrombie & Fitch from 1992-2014.
The process
I watched the documentary White Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch on Netflix which emphasized several recurring themes through Michael Jeffries' creative supervision of A&F. Themes addressed are harassment, racism, exclusivity, toxic work culture, youths' self-image concerns, and sexual exploitation.
I then read a case study written by Danae Blanchard and published by The Richard Ivey School of Business. This case study gave me new insights on Michael Jeffries' impact on his employees, teenagers, and consumers.
Through additional research including A&F’s financial’s over the years I was able to take a stance on the topic provided at hand.
